Benecare’s Clinical Specialist Pat Radcliffe joined a team of 21 nurses on a sponsored 8 Mile Midnight Memories Walk raising money for Bolton Hopsice. The annual walk organised by the hospice brings people together who have experienced loss or been affected by a life-threatening illness.
The nurses who work at the Orthopaedic Outpatient Department in the Royal Bolton Hospital were walking to support their team member Bev Longworth who is receive treatment for breast cancer. Bev successfully completed the walk with her colleagues.
Pat who now works for Benecare as the clinical product specialist used to work in the plaster room at the Royal Bolton Hospital in the 90s and remains close friends with the team.
All at Benecare sponsored Pat, in addition we provided Pink Benecast Flex Casting Material for all the nurses to wear a cast during the walk to promote their profession.
