The weekend of the 8th-10th of March saw plaster technicians from all over the UK head to Torquay for the Association of Orthopaedic Practitioners annual conference & 35th anniversary.
As a principle sponsor at the AOP annual conference, it is an event that always holds importance within the BeneCare Calendar, and something our team spends a lot of time preparing for to ensure that all delegates have the best time possible in terms of the education & entertainment.
Last year’s ‘AOP Workshop of the Year’ winner, our very own Clinical Specialist Pat Radcliffe, carried out a workshop focusing on FRC Sarmiento Casting using the BeneCast Advanced. The workshop proved to be very popular among delegates as we have been receiving some excellent feedback, and workshop requests.
The BeneCare workshop provided delegates with an insight in to the training BeneCare Medical can offer. We provide our Online E-Learning portal (The BeneCare Academy), along with bespoke hospital training days and workshops both internally and externally. If you require any information regarding one of our workshops please do not hesitate to contact your local Account Manager or Pat Radcliffe – Clinical Specialist.
This year BeneCare Medical had a brand new stand making its debut, aiming to be fresher and portraying the strong family ethos at the foundations of company, which some of you may have noticed through the BeneCare ‘Family Tree’ graphics.
The other side of the stand we had a large photo montage within the BeneCare ‘B’ logo. The team had some laughs with delegates who were trying to notice themselves, as it was made up of thousands of images including; product photos, workshop photos, countless event photos and the BeneCare conference throughout the years.
As the event was in Torquay we incorporated a ‘traditional British seaside theme’, by having ‘Punch and Judy’ style graphics and also seagulls hovering over the stand. We were giving away ice cream sweets as delegate were having a go on our traditional fish bowl game (which was slightly harder than we expected), and being entered in to a draw with the chance of winning some vouchers.
Our Friday evening drinks reception was a success and tempted delegates, as we hosted our very own Tiki Bar on the stand. We provided delegate’s with cocktails in coconut cups and beer in our very own branded can coolers. It was a lovely enjoyable atmosphere with people surrounding the stand, giving us the perfect opportunity to have a catch up with recognisable faces and also getting to know some new potential customers.
